Hello friend,

I'm Corie, and I am the face behind the camera! And I promise, I will not always look nice like this picture, unless I am at your wedding! I can promise though, I will be myself!

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, with many moves under my belt. But, I officially have planted my roots here for good! I am 27, and have been "shooting" since I was about 13. I started my love for photography when I would run around the farm, taking pictures of my horses and all of my animals, as well as the little details in life that often get overlooked. I found joy in making people smile with my pictures, and I absolutely loved being able to preserve memories that I could always look back on. Over the years, I started to take more pictures of things that meant the most to me, and things I enjoyed. I started to fall in love with the fact that I could preserve not only a memory, but the way that memory made me feel, by capturing the emotion as well. My "why" for photography is the reason I love what I do and it gives meaning to the way that I photograph.

I am blessed to have 3 puppers, 3 horses, and 2 pretty awesome step daughters that love modeling for me! My amazing fiancé is also one of my biggest supporters, who is always up for a photoshoot if it involves a motor or hunting, and sometimes is the mastermind behind some of my content! We both run Crook'd Brow Outdoors, hunt together, and trail ride our horses together, so when I'm not working or behind a camera, that's usually what I am up to! I am also a lover of all things western, so if you have horses too, let's throw a cowboy hat on and shoot! I specialize in weddings, but do photograph a variety of sessions and am branching out more into studio work as well, and I am always up for an adventure!

If I sound like a good fit for you, let's talk about it! I love meeting new people, and can't wait to see what we can create together!

About Your Session:

What do I wear?

This question gets asked alot... so here is your answer....

Some colors photograph better than others, so I ask that you keep your colors earthy and neutral! Bright and neon colors do not flatter in front of the lens! If you are a family, matching is good, but you don't want the same patterns. Just the same, you don't all need to wear the same color scheme. Anything that flows together works well! I always say, pick one patterned/textured outfit, and plan the rest around it. You may bring hats and accessories along, but they may not be used the whole session, as they may cause unwanted shadows, but don't be discouraged, we will get some shots with them!

Tips...

This is my favorite!

Please make sure faces are clean or bring wipes with you for the little ones.

Try to avoid colorful foods and drinks before your session, for example, cheetos, kool-aid, popsicles, etc., this saves me editing time, and gets you your images quicker!

Bright and neon colored outfits are not photographed well, as well as graphic tees!

Also, please do not stress about children not cooperating, the best images are the ones of them being themselves. Let them run around and explore, let them show you what they find, and heck, after the session, let them play in that mud puddle. Movement, emotion, and tender moments are what I strive for, and you will appreciate too! I will always try my best to get at least one traditional "everyone smile at the camera" shot! Enjoy this time in the moment and let moments happen!

What not to do...

This is where you will thank me later!

Make sure before you come, that all hair ties are off of wrists, as well as fitness watches, we all love them, but they are not needed here!

Jewelry and bracelets are absolutely fine though!

Also remember to take all extras out of your pockets! Ditch the keys, chap stick ( I know ladies, I am glued to mine too!), wallets, snuff, etc. that may leave unflattering bumps in your images.

Sunglasses.... you can bring them, but you probably will be asked not to wear them unless we have an image we want with them, same goes for ball caps (sorry guys...).

Always Remember

This is your session!

I will do my best to give you a fun and memorable experience, so men, your cooperation is well valued! You can always send me ideas and ask questions! Please don't ever think you are asking a "dumb question", if you don't know how something works, please ask!

If you have an idea you want to try, let's try it!

HAVE FUN! I am excited to meet and work with you!
